The only way to harness Israel's one considerable resource--its quickly evaporating brainpower--is to incentivize innovation. When a smart Israeli comes up with some revolutionary computer program or some other product, there should be more of an incentive to keep the innovation within Israel instead of selling it off to the highest-bidding overseas company. Build a company around the product here in Israel. Create jobs. Stimulate wealth. Boost prestige. Encourage aliyah. It's bizarre and unfortunate that the nation that perfected the principle of deferred gratification (which comes with inventing compulsory education) cannot take it to a generational scale. Patriotic, enterprising Israelis should dig in and live cheaply while knowing that their investments will benefit future generations. I agree. It is the most effective form of warfare. Very few have even tried to understand it. Its really too bad you have so many barriers to reform Jews, many of them understand it very well.
