I can get along with Leftist Jews who live in the countryside or even the suburbs, but the cosmopolitan types live in their own bubble. They have the utmost contempt for religious Jews and traditional values and even freedom (unless its their own freedom). They have a strong authoritarian streak that I despise. Cosmopolitan types create cities that breed cynicism, corruption, decrepit conditions for the common man (at the same time send their kids to the most prestigious schools) and moral decay. Its the same everywhere you go. Its no surprise what is happening in the Israeli Court System. Its indicative of their personality. Their desire to control people's lives. To maintain power to the few that are privileged in their eyes, because the rest of the population, in their opinion, is too damn stupid and backwards. Yuppie Jews are the worst kind of Jews. The assimilationist values brought with will be shed as reality crashes their party. It is a process of 'awakening', of course, and one that should ideally have already happened prior to Aliyah. Coupling this to the fact that the nations are all in a state of collapse and disintegration, there will be no massive wave of emigration. There's nowhere left to go!
