Number one was Biafra, the oil is in that region, Israel could have done more to help Biafra in its war so they would have won. #2 was Rwanda, the Tutsi people are Ethiopian in origin and are known as the Jews of Africa, the US at that time was being run by the Clintons who although they posed as friends of black people, did not lift one finger to stop the murder of a million black people. The contiguous African countries and close African countries hated and envied the Tutsis because of their education, their material success, and because of their possible Ehtiopian and or Jewish ancestry....this is why Nelson Mandela and the ANC did nothing to help and in fact the other African countries appeared to have been helping the Hutus in their mass murdering. Number 3 is Sudan, where the Arab Africans in the North, are murdering the Black Africans and Black Christians in the South...the north wants all the oil resources and the south wants independence. Although many of these people are Islamic they understand that Arabs want to destroy them and they would be better off anyplace out side of Sudan, and eventually they will be able to secede. If Israel had helped the people being victimized, in any of these three conflict, Israel would have 3 strong friends in Africa. Right now, if Israel looks at Africa, it looks like a panorama of very hostile powers. South Africa is no friend to Israel and the dominant political line throughout most of Africa demonizes Israel and the Jews. One more thing, if Israel can help some of these oppressed people to victory in their struggles, then, they do not need to flee their home countries and be refugees in Israel. The US is no longer in the business of freeing countries from oppressive governments, neither is any other military power, and China, when it projects power, is always on the side of the ruthless oppressors, Zimbabwe, Sudan, etc. The UN is worse than a joke. The US is supposedly fighting terrorism in Afghanistan while giving billions to the Pakistani military, who just happen to be the same guys who created the Taliban and hide Osama Bin Laden. The US State Department and President Obama look to be on the side of the Islamic people in many conflicts and when there are two bad Islamic choices, as in, Iran vs Saudia Arabia, the State Department and Obama side with Iran instead of siding with the Saudis....no thinking person should expect the US to intercede against Iran or the Bashir government in Sudan or any other global villains. The Obama and US State Department mode is now total appeasement... So Israel shoudl find a way to defend these people and reach out to them, because no one else will and it is not acceptable for Jews to pass the scene of crime without trying to help the victim.
