Even if Iran will not destroy Israel within 2 years, then the Quartet will do it. If for some reason the Quartet will not do it, thanks to the wise leadership of Israel, the Arabs living in Israel (including Yesha) will do it, simply by outnumbering the Jews in two generations. You may start the down count of the days of Israel's existence now. Start with 1000. That's the most positive outlook I have. It doesn’t make much difference. None of us are the Queen's equals but the country is secular despite the established church and bishops sitting in the House of Lords. There are also Law Lords. There are other churches and there is freedom of worship. We are a very old country, obviously. Things as they are in those areas will change if the Prince of WAles ascends the throne. He loves Muslims and wishes to be "Defender of Faiths" rather than "Defender of the Faith", It's a little reminiscent of "Territories" in UNSCR 242. I have to agree about the holidays but I doubt that these days any religion is allocated more of our taxes than Islam. Blair is absurd, an actor manqué. I wish I could see a bright future for Israel but unless we learn from Israel rather tolerating, believing and acting on the perversions of Israel's enemies we don't have a bright future either.
