You’re aware, I imagine, that before there was the bloodbath called Darfur (in west Central Sudan on the eastern Chad border area), there was a long standing genocide conducted on the totally black African and almost completely Christian south Sudan by the almost European looking Arabs who control north Sudan (basically from the capital Khartoum and north to the Aswan dam and Egyptian border).

Just remember: after about 30 years of what the so-called ‘press’ has termed a “Civil War” with almost all of the millions of dead being the black Nubian Christians and some Animists of the south (and extending to the border of Ethiopia and Kenya and Uganda and Zaire which, east to west, border “the Sudan”, as it is called on its southern border)—

Just remember: that is where oil was found in commercial quantities that do not exist in the Moslem controlled northern part of the country. That is why there “had to be a Civil War” perpetrated by the north Arabs who had no oil. It is probably why there is one still at play in Darfur.

2nd paragraph—the reason the US acts so glibly with Israel is the simple fact that it has never even recognized the Jewish State as existing in the first place. The US embassy in Tel Aviv? That not only speaks of “pussyfooting” by Israel but addiction to oil from Saudi Arabia. While oil is there to use, it is best retrieved from your own resources so that blackmail doesn’t occur. Israel gave up it’s own oil (see Exodus 23:31)and its own strategic depth and the air and naval bases etc. when it signed the Camp David stuff 32 years ago. Ezekiel says such stupidity is not fatal, but will finally wean Israel from “going back to Egypt” and will cause some indigestion and back spasms!:~))

All of these statements are evidence of a great perspective that lacks the prophetic touch that is implied and even explicit when, for instance, Obadiah states that, “…and in the meantime Israel’s troubles will multiply.”

The last quote about the Sudan implies that Obadiah knows where all this started. Jimmy Carter, about the turn of the year, verified the southern Sudanese breakaway vote from the Moslem north. The oil that goes to China from Sudan is drilled in the Nubian, Christian/animist south and is probably to be found in Ethiopia as well, where Christians also outnumber the Moslems. It is then piped north where all the money goes from the Chinese. That has to stop.

At any rate, the Sudanese revolt from the Moslem Khartoum north set everything in motion…
